Touch Bar not displaying with BTT login

Describe the bug
I have been running into an issue where upon boot / login on macOS, my Touch Bar would not be active or usable. Happens during every boot, but not during Safe Boot mode.

Only recently did I one-by-one remove the (only 5) login items on my Mac. Upon reboot, only removing BTT did my Touch Bar appear every time on reboot. It's so nice to have my Touch Bar back, but I love using BTT. What can I do? Also, just thought you should know.

Sometimes when this is occurring my Tackpad does not allow me to "right click" or drag and select words or even 'three-finder drag'. I am unsure if that is related to this bug. But it's working as expected without BTT login / loaded up.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

MacBook Trackpad
Touch Bar

Screenshots
Can't really.

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro M1 2020

  • BetterTouchTool version: Version 6.557 (not sure where to find the version ID in the app; this is from SetApp)

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):
I think I included everything, but please ask.
I see this post from another user: but my issue is still happening for me when I place BTT back in the login items and reboot.
