I saw a similar recent thread that may have the same root cause, but wanted to keep the discussion separate.
Describe the bug
Seemingly randomly BTT crashes, restarts itself, crashes etc. in an infinite loop.
I can break the loop by quitting it (have to be fast enough), Disabling BTT for All Apps, restarting BTT, Enabling BTT for All Apps.
However, after some time the cycle starts anew.
Device information:
- Type of Mac: MacBook Pro
- macOS version: 11.16.2
- BetterTouchTool version: 3.708 (1846) - has been happening since 1-2 months, also had tried alpha version
