simulate middle button click-drag-release with macbook trackpad

Just bought BTT to try to simulate a middle mouse button click-drag-release (with option down) for Maya. I've beat my head against every possible 3- and 4-finger trigger and various actions (including custom middle-mouse-down and middle-mouse-up) but have yet to get it to work. Any clue how to do this? Thx.

Maybe this one - Emulate a real middle click (including dragging) with the trackpad. E.g. for CAD programs. ?
