thanks for pointing this out. i have been a btt user for 10+ years and never ever have i found this 
i simply consider search features to always be in the header area of an app AND more importantly to get focus when i hit cmd+f
this was really a long time pain point for me. i know it sounds as if i am simply too stupid, but maybe this could be considered as an improvement.
