I'm using BTT with Magic Trackpad, Logitech g604 and steermouse app.
I can assign different actions for mouse wheel from steermouse app (like mouse wheel act like opt+scroll for example), but I'm missing such options for trackpad very much. Any advices?
By the way how does BTT process scroll actions? I tried to assign some modifier key presses on scroll action but it only performs key down but not key up and modifier key remains pressed until I restart BTT.
I think I don't understand the question. Maybe post some screenshots of what you have been trying
ah sorry the "Trigger on Mouse Down / Up" option is only for button presses, I will need to hide it for scroll events as there is no press state for scroll events.
Is that hard to implement? Im using a CAD program which uses SHIFT/Scroll to pan the view. It would be so nice to be able to pan with 3 fingers or 2 fingers click.

In that way seems like only key down action is performed and key remains pressed.
You could use the new "Release Finger After Previous Touch With 2 Fingers" trigger (requires current alpha version of BTT):

For mouse BTT can not do this (but maybe it would be a nice feature to allow adding modifiers to scroll events).

Shapr3d does not allow middle click sadly. 
Would be really nice be able to simulate shift scroll with 3 finger scrolling.
