I haven't had any reports of crashes with f1/f2 thus I doubt anybody else will be able to send it to me. Might be something very specific.
The crash logs are located in this section in the console app (you can open that via Spotlight just by typing console. There should be a report for BetterTouchTool.

I have some notch bar items defined (through a preset). And despite having disabled the notch bar support entirely, whenever I :
the notch bar support auto-enables itself.
The fun thing is that when I open the BTT settings, it's still disabled.
A re-start of BTT resolves this.
Am I doing something wrong?

Can you try upgrading to the latest alpha?
The same happens on the latest alpha (3.724 (1864))
there is a problem when going in fullscreen,itll often display like this ,with basically the menu bar being colored/blurred instead of being black
thanks for reporting! this should be improved in 3.735 (will be available as alpha in a few minutes) but I think I might need to look deeper into this for video player apps. As a workaround to make the bar completely black, you can right-click the bar and select "make whole bar black"
I love your tool, used it for a long time with my Touch Bar Mac and when I saw Apple was getting rid of it, the first thing I thought about was your program. I was hoping you could figure a way to be helpful for Macs without a touchbar. I just got M1 MBP for work and downloaded and was thrilled to see notch support. Its a bit buggy but works great and looking forward to you releasing more updates. Also its time for me to renew my license which I will happily do
