Mouse does not work when the touchpad is touched with 4 or more fingers

Describe the bug

When the touchpad is touched with 4 or more fingers the mouse stops working. The cursor still moves, but you can't click on anything (macOS stops accepting left and right mouse button presses). If you disable BTT, the problem goes away.

(the cursor is controlled by a separate mouse)

Affected input device:

  • MacBook Trackpad
  • logitech mx ergo

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Air m2
  • macOS version: 15.3.1
  • BetterTouchTool version: 5.234

Hey @Asisstan_Asisstan , so you are using mouse logitech mx ergo , but if you touch the MacBook trackpad, with 4 fingers, only then this issue happens? What if you disconnect the mouse and touch the trackpad with 4 or more fingers does this happens?

Yes, the problem persists, only stops if BTT is turned off. Turned off other mice, still doesn't work. Even if you try to drive your fifth finger on the touchpad at that moment and click, macOS doesn't perceive the mouse click))

BTT indeed blocks clicks if four or more fingers are touching the trackpad. This is to prevent issues with BTT gestures.

I'll add an option to disable this behavior.

Thank you!
