Main window opens randomly

Describe the bug
BTT's main window keeps opening at random times, and almost always on wake from sleep.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.): NA

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: 14" MacBook Pro M1 Pro, Model Number MKGQ3LL
  • macOS version: Ventura 13.2 (22D49)
  • BetterTouchTool version: (please post the exact version - not just "the latest one"): 4.019

unfortunately I never figured out what causes this. It seems to happen on (very few) systems, since macOS 10.12. I assume something on the system is trying to launch BTT again while it is already running, which will cause the prefs to show.

The only workaround is this:
Configuration window appears out of the blue - Bug Reports - BetterTouchTool Community (folivora.ai)
