How to override Logitech’s Software

I have a Logitech MX Ergo and installed the “Logitech Options” software.

Does that prevent BetterTouchTool from seeing the buttons on it ?

I have the same issue with my MX master where it won't register any of the buttons besides right/left click and scroll/side wheel. Have you come up with any solutions?

I uninstalled the Logitech Options software. Nothing else seemed to work.
