actually, I just had to change "things" to "things3" in the AppleScript and that solved it.
Thanks @cedricchase, it worked for me
Is there a way to determine what is in various menu bar sizes? I like the idea of an expanded and shrunk menu bar (maybe just 2 sizes instead of 3 for me), but I can't see how to designate what I'd like in each piece. Is there an easy way to do that? Especially buttons that aren't part of the defaults in GC.
Also, I love this SO MUCH.
For whatever reason, the default Calendar Widget Events to show settings (Normal Events and All Day Events) displays duplicates - but if you set it to any of the others (for instance Normal Events, All Day Events and Reminders) it will remove the duplicates.
Hehehe -- spent my first day with my new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar figuring that out. Hope this helps someone!
Describe the bug:
1. Dock badges cannot be displayed. After setting in GC-BBT, the badge disappears after only being displayed. In addition, the reminder will not be displayed in the Touchbar when Apple mail comes. I tried other apps, such as "WeChat" and "iMessage", but they all failed.
What I want to achieve:
But it's actually blank.
2. Airpods can't display the connection status and battery level. I hope it will be the default background color when connected, and red background color when disconnected, but it cannot be achieved.
3.Now Playing Actions. The play and pause buttons will not switch, they are always "pause".
Hope GC-BBT will be updated soon.
Device information:
Type of Mac: M1 MacBook Pro
macOS version: 11.1
BetterTouchTool version: 3.510(1648)
GC-BTT version:3.392
Completely uninstall the app, then reinstall it.
I tested it in the script editor, using "get_dock_badge_for" all returned values are "missing value".@GoldenChaos

Hi,
Perfect. Thank you
Hello everyone,
I am really sorry if this question as been previously asked before, but I searched by keywords in thread and didn't find any thing related to it.
GolddenChaos is very good but it lacks a feature that stops me from using it, regarding scrolling or scrubbing in videos like YouTube or Netflix. That bar is available at least in fullscreen when BetterTouchTools is not activated.
Did I miss something in the setup or is the widget simply not provided by BetterTouchTools ? Do you have any idea or information on my request ?
Thank your very much for you reply
Denis
Hi, thanks for this beautiful tool!
I have a small problem. It seems like either this extension doesn't support the apps that don't exist on the list or I did something wrong with the "Unsupported" apps group. Here are two images showing how my list looks like and how the touch bar looks when an app like "Figma" opens in the foreground.
At least I would like to get the QuickStrip for all unsupported apps.
Could you help me with this, please?

Hello! Loving this tool.
Is... there a way to get the active application's Touch Bar buttons without having to quit BTT?
My scenario is easily accessing the "Leave Meeting" button on Zoom.
Thank for this community and the hard work!
Since Big Sur, I'm having a lot of issues with GoldenChaos crashing and restarting by itself. Very very often. Is it definitely still being supported?
Is there a way to disable the menu icon from golden chaos?
It is definitely still being supported! There seem to be issues with BTT on M1 Macs when using Night Shift controls. @Andreas_Hegenberg is working on some fixes. Are you on an M1 Mac? If not, is there anything specific you’re doing with GC when it crashes?
Thanks for the reply! I'm not on an M1 Mac. I'm on a 16 inch MBP. The crashes seem fairly random, at least I haven't been able to figure out what's causing them.
Could you help me that how to display the current input source to the touch bar please?Like system touch bar setting.
So right now the AirPods Pro connection button/icon works correctly...technically. It highlights when the Airpods are connected via Bluetooth. What I want however is it to only highlight when they're actually the output source for the machine.
My ideal would be that tapping that button connects to them and then sets the system audio output to them. Tapping again would disconnect them from bluetooth and inherently remove them as the audio output.
Just installed @GoldenChaos and noticed the exact same issue.
