Hi there,
the Extending the Finder Context Menu option is not working for me. I tried everything, restart etc. I imported these preset: Extending Finder Context Menu · GitBook
Extension is active:
System Settings => General => Login Items & Extensions => File Providers:
I even tried terminal commands I found in other support threads.
But nothing shows up in finder context menu.
I use the latest version of BTT and Mac OS.
Thank you for any help.
what kind of items have you added? Could you post a screenshot of the menu configuration?
If you have just configured this, try to restart Finder (right-click while pressing opt, then click relaunch)
I tried it again, nothing changed. But I restarted the mac and finder before.
I think I might have found an issue, hopefully resolved in 5.553 alpha! (building now)
Alpha Version is showing the element! THANK YOU!
This is still happening :):
Describe the bug
With the new 'Custom Finder Context Menu Items' feature, when using an icon 'From SF Symbols' for a 'Context Menu Item' (eg. doc.text), with dark mode enabled, the icon appears black rather than a light/contrasting colour like I would have expected.
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

Type of Mac: MacBook Pro, 16-inch, 2019 (Intel)
macOS version: Sonoma 14.…
Nevermind I used a custom Logo. BUT is it somehow possible that I can show the context menu elements in folders like: Documents, Desktop, OneDrive?
Thanks again!
