Disabled 'Custom Finder Context Menu' trigger still shows on Finder right-click menu

Describe the bug

When I have the 'Custom Finder Context Menu' trigger disabled, I am still seeing the menu items show on the Finder right-click menu.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro, 16-inch, 2019 (Intel)
  • macOS version: Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224)
  • BetterTouchTool version: Version 4.569

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

currently you need to disable the finder extension to disable the menu. I’ll add a note about this when disabling /deleting one of these

I understand that (based on one of your answers elsewhere), but I believe this is still a separate bug/issue to that.

If it was disabled in BTT, but the finder extension is still enabled, I would expect the finder menu to show the default 'you need to go create an entry' menu item; not continue to show the menu item I have disabled.

yep I agree!

It's not working by default because the finder extension is basically a separate app and just reads the menu configuration from BTT. But I'll add some way to read the disabled state as well.
