BTT needing to be restarted each time MacBook sleeps

I'm finding recently that almost every single time my MacBook sleeps (either lid closed or othrewise) when the system wakes up my touchbar is back to the system default requiring a restart of BTT.

MacBook Pro 13" M1 2020, Ventura 13.1

Any idea what might be the issue / resolution here?

the latest alpha versions might fix this, would be great if you could try them. (Get via "Check for alpha version updates")
