Hello, Andreas. How are you?
About a year ago, I created a topic here in the bug section asking for help regarding an auto-copy action performed by BTT in other apps. At the time, I identified the issue in VS Code (which I rarely use) and CleanShot X (which I use constantly).
Back then, while searching online for similar reports (before suspecting BTT), I found a link on this forum where a user attributed the behavior to the "Text Selection Did Change" trigger. You confirmed that BTT needed to perform an auto-copy for this trigger to work, but that it would be fixed in the alpha releases (Auto-copying without any command trigger)
Since then, because I was hesitant to install alpha updates, I stopped using "Text Selection Did Change" (even though I find it to be an amazing tool for my use case). However, even after disabling the triggers associated with this action, BTT continued to interfere with these apps. If I recall correctly, I was only able to solve it by deleting the triggers, not just disabling them.
This week, I decided to try creating actions with this trigger again. As expected, the issue returned with CleanShot X.
I tried disabling the triggers, but the problem remained. I then deleted the triggers entirely, but it still hasn't stopped interfering.
The problem only stops when I completely close BTT.
Could you guide me on how to resolve this?
Thanks again.
