Window Snapping Not Working

Describe the bug

I recently got a Mac Studio | Apple M2 Max Chip | Sonoma 14.2. Window snapping (the only BTT feature I really utilize and rely on) is not working.

I have closed/opened BTT numbers of times. I have disabled/reenabled security and privacy accessibility settings number of times, prompting a number of restarts of the application. I have enabled and disabled window snapping in BTT settings numbers of times. I have restarted the computer.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

  • Mac Studio -- Apple M2 Max chip -- Sonoma 14.2 OS, using ASUS monitor, bluetooth apple keyboard and mouse

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: Mac Studio
  • macOS version: Sonoma 14.2
  • BetterTouchTool version: 4.427

If the privacy database is corrupted, disabling is not enough - you actually need to remove it, then add it again.

If that doesn't help you might need to reset the database (make sure to quit BTT first and have not any important unsaved work) using this terminal command

sudo tccutil reset Accessibility
