Hello, I have BetterTouch Tool installed on a work computer. The application is permitted, but in the last few weeks I’ve gotten occasional popups blocking BetterTouch Tool WidgetsExtension, which apparently requires different permissions. I am 99% sure I have everything that seems to be widget-related disabled in the app, but I still get this message. Any ideas on how to turn off the widgets extension without making the app useless? Thanks
I don't think you can prevent the error popup but it also doesn't cause any harm.
Thanks. I’m not worried about the harm. I guess I’m more concerned that if I’m getting that warning repeatedly the IT team won’t allow me to use it anymore. It’s also strange because that never happened until the past week or two, so either something I changed within BTT or something that changed within the software itself may have led to these warnings.
it is more likely that the policies of your IT have changed, the dummy widget has always been there
