maybe its because people dont want to sign up for a new website?
the forum is MUCH more active than the github tracker has ever been.
Github just isn’t good for this kind of stuff. It definitely was one of the best decisions to move to a discourse (the forum software) based forum. Also, it allowed to log in using your github account.
