Weird issue restarting BTT

Restarting BTT not working if Activity Monitor is the front app.

Could you replicate this?

  • open the activity monitor as the front app
  • status menu bar > BTT > Restart BetterTouchTool
  • BTT quits as expected
  • but while Activity monitor is the front app, BTT doesn't start
  • when you switch to another app and activity monitor leaves the frontmost, BTT starts as expected
