Using BTT 3.821, I've noticed something "new" in the last couple of days, which is likely since an Alpha update, but, I could be wrong.
The symptom is that I've bound the + and - buttons on a Siri Remote (new style) to macOS volume up and down. This was working great until recently, when any press will increment or decrement the volume by TWO levels, rather than just one.
I can't see any obvious toggle somewhere that may control this, so, thought it would be worth reporting. Not sure if it's a bug or not, but it was unexpected and different behaviour than my historical use of BTT with the Siri remote.
Any idea on how to get things to only +- in single steps?
~2015 Mac Mini worked fine for years with the small white IR remote. After updating from Mavericks to Big Sur the "up" and "down" buttons cause a double action. Our primary use is to control Plex, but the default system action for those buttons is Volume.
Of the six buttons, "up" and "down" are the only ones causing this. Input mapping in Plex allows us to define the action, but any action set for those buttons acts twice. It seems the system is sending the trigger twice.
Given that Apple have discontinued macOS models with the IR receiver, I suspect there are errors in the kernel extension. My guess is, BTT is sending one event to the system that is likely being duplicated on redirect.
