BTT has been doing great for more than 10 years now, and has been developed based on user input from day 1. By now it is one of the most successful indie macOS apps. Just my 2 cents to your comment about being out of touch.
I don't expect anything, but if someone wants to receive help, it should be common sense to ask nicely and not start with a rant about how the app is -1 stars and continue that rant with every reply. Figuring out complex tools like BTT takes time, as a Maya user you are probably aware of that (of course Maya is a whole different level but still).
By the way: In case you already purchased BTT, it comes with a 14 day refund policy, no questions asked.

I’m amazed by your patience Andreas!
I’m using BTT with Maya, Premiere, Unity, Davinci and more without issue for more than 4years... bhart1 as a dev you should get how OS level input override can quickly become complicated.
Be respectful if you want others to help you..
