"Variable Value did Change" Not Working with "fullscreen_active"

Describe the bug
I'm trying to set up a trigger for when 'fullscreen_active' changes to either true or false. It works when I use "Trigger on Change of Advanced Trigger Condition" (only allows for either True or False), but not when I use "Variable Value did Change".

I'd like to note that I am 100% sure that the variable is changing as I am monitoring it using the new (awesome!) BTT "Variables & Scripting" window.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

unfortunately fullscreen_active is a polling / on demand variable. These only run the code to retrieve their values if they are being actively requested. (For performance reasons)

I have recently added some code that might make it possible to convert this to a "pushing" variable, I'll have a look!

Ah, I see. Yes, I did notice that it was an On Demand variable, but I thought this might be a bug because the trigger did not identify a change even when I had "Poll/Update every 2 seconds" checked on the "Variable & Scripting" window.

The "Trigger on Change of Advanced Trigger Condition" does have a "Condition Check Interval" which works in this case – I think that's the new feature that you're referring to.

Thanks for looking into it and considering adding this functionality
