V2 Independent settings for Magic Trackpad and Built-In Trackpad?

I saw this posted in 2024, but there was no reply. So I'll ask it now...

Is it possible to set different settings for an external trackpad than the built-in MBP trackpad?

For example, can you:

  • Have the built-in trackpad's tracking speed set to: "5"

while...

  • Your External Magic Trackpad's tracking speed is set to "2"?

Another example, you have:

  • built-in trackpad set to "Light Click"

while...

  • External Magic Trackpad is set to Firm (with quiet click enabled)

you can configure individual gestures in BTT, but these base settings currently apply to all trackpads

Okay thanks for thanks for the info. Partially I'm just trying to figure out why my Magic Trackpad 3 seems to behave differently than my built-in MBP trackpad. Most problematic is when I am moving the cursor around sometimes, it doesn't even pick my finger up. You can see in this video (link below) when I start swiping up. The 3rd, 4th and 5th swipe of my pointer finger - the cursor barely registers to move upward.

It is the USC-C trackpad and I don't know if it's defective of if it's normal. But my built-in track pad on my MacBook Pro 2021 M1 never had that issue.
