Not sure if I'm missing something but here's what I want: command and control for my development activities.
command switching is distracting and I lose my train of thought. I've scripted things but would like to use BTT and my iPhone and iPad to kick off activities regardless of foreground app. I don't necessarily want to bring any app to the foreground if possible.
When I say script, I mean unix script -- my last trip down Mac scripting memory lane was HyperScript and a similar trauma upon seeing AppleScript but it's probably gotten better. However, the tooling I'm using is IntelliJ IDEA and has no dictionary that AppleScript Editor will show me.
