Using localfile to specify webview contents for BTT Mobile floating menus

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to specify the content of a floating menu webview item — loaded by BTT Mobile — using a localfile:// specification, where the localfile lives on my Mac. This works perfectly when I view the floating menu on my Mac, but it breaks when I view the same floating menu on BTT Mobile (I just get “localfile:///Users/jalex/path/to/file.html” shown in the webview).

This isn’t that big a deal because I can generate a workaround with a Mac-only floating menu and then a slightly tweaked BTT Mobile floating menu, but it would be more convenient to only need a single definition for both environments.

Sorry if I’ve overlooked a basic setting that makes this possible!

localfile (to access arbitrary files) is currently not supported.
However you can use presetfile://presetname/filename.html, which allows you to reference files that are placed within your preset's data folder. To open that folder you can use the BTT menubar:
