I am trying to set up an automation to launch or quit a specific app when my external keyboard is connected. It would seem like the USB Device Did trigger isn't firing and I'm unsure if there is some other setting I need to configure.
Attached are a couple of screenshots: 1 shows the USB system report with the relevant info on the keyboard and the other shows the automation setup.
This particular run has the keyboard connecting through a USB 2.1 hub, but I attempted a direct to laptop connection with no joy. At the very least, I expect the HUD Overview to fire when the event is detected.
Any help would be appreciated.
