Typed Words as a standalone trigger type

I like using BTT as a text expander, but compared to specialized apps or the snippets feature in Alfred or Raycast, I’d appreciate a simpler setup or perhaps a more intuitive display. In BTT, this function is called Key Sequences / Typed Words, but it feels more like the former, whereas other expanders handle the latter.

In the triggers, it gets quite cluttered seeing the key sequences instead of the actual text. Couldn’t there be a trigger type for specific words or phrases without needing to configure pauses, order, or duration?

Basically, I’d prefer a simpler interface where I can see that  expands to :grinning:, rather than seeing something like r⇧·;·)·

Thanks

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for:

Unfortunately, this only addresses part of the problem. I still have to configure an appropriate pause between key presses and check the box for exact key order, otherwise it doesn’t work properly when I have a trigger for a word that requires holding Shift for multiple characters.

I could add a way to save changes to the default settings so it will always use your modified settings

Another thing that will be available soon is importing key sequences from a simple text file.

Thanks, this will definitely help (both the default settings and the import).
