I'm watching/reading things at night, and the touch bar is just too shiny, and there is reflections on the screen.
Is there a way, automatic or a button/actions/function to deactivate the touch bar for a time being?

Conditional activation group. Play around and see what triggers work best for you. You could make one where if any of the selected apps are in focus, the Touch Bar is blank
