Trying to register multiple mouse buttons but buttons on the other side of mouse are registering as the same on the opposite side?

I have a Razer Viper Ultimate with 2 buttons on the left side and 2 buttons on the right side. Clicking to register them works on the left side, but I just noticed as I went to add more modifiers, the buttons on the right side register as the left. Is there any way around this?
