I just downloaded BTT (for the first time) and I'm told the trial has expired.

I just checked and it seems to work fine on my machines. Are you sure you had not installed 283 days ago and don't remember?
Alternatively this can happen if the time of the computer has been modified while BTT was active.
Haha, definitely! I only learnt about the product a few days ago. in fact, I didn't even have a Touch Bar Mac 283 days ago!
Did you download it from my official website? (https://folivora.ai/downloads )
You can try deleting this folder to reset it: ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool and this file: ~/Library/Preferences/com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool.plist

Definitely off your site, so I don't get it. Maybe a bug to do with OSX beta?
