Trial Expired at first install

Describe the bug
I just downloaded BTT (for the first time) and I'm told the trial has expired.


Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro 2018
  • macOS version: 10.15
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.186

I just checked and it seems to work fine on my machines. Are you sure you had not installed 283 days ago and don't remember? :slight_smile:

Alternatively this can happen if the time of the computer has been modified while BTT was active.

Haha, definitely! I only learnt about the product a few days ago. in fact, I didn't even have a Touch Bar Mac 283 days ago!

Did you download it from my official website? ( )

You can try deleting this folder to reset it: ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool and this file: ~/Library/Preferences/com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool.plist

Removing the files worked, thank you!

Definitely off your site, so I don't get it. Maybe a bug to do with OSX beta?
