trackpad included in the casa logitech bundle

Hello,

Would like to know if they are limitations in using BTT with the trackpad included in the casa logitech bundle.

Thx in advance for your help.

Laurent

for trackpads BTT only supports Apple ones, I have not checked whether the Logitech trackpad allows receiving the raw touch data

Thx for the answer and the reactivity.BTT is awesome !

Though BTT only officially supports Apple Trackpad, I do have a third-party trackpad from a small company called HUKE T3, which is almost fully supported by BTT. The only non-functional gestures are the multi finger tap gestures, which I use JiTouch to define, and it becomes 100% functional.

If I ever purchase a Logi Casa trackpad in the future I'll try it with BTT and report here. I have plans to buy one but it's out of stock where I live.

interesting, most likely that trackpad tricks the system into thinking it is an Apple trackpad? Does BTT's live view in View => Show Live View show the touches?

It’s possible, but the interesting thing is that it’s not a bluetooth trackpad - it’s connected via a 2.4 GHz USB receiver... Maybe it tricks the system into thinking it’s an internal trackpad?

Yes, I do remember that “Show Live View” showed the touches when using that HUKE trackpad, but I’m not 100% sure. I’ll double-check a bit later when I’m back home.

I just checked and yes, BTT (version 6.594)’s Live View does show the touches for the HUKE T3 touchpad.

I also remember BTT working perfectly on the internal trackpads of both of my Hackintosh laptops. One is a Lenovo Yoga, and the other is a Dell something (I can’t remember exactly). I think they’re both recognized as internal trackpads in some way.
