Touchbar mouse control lagging a few seconds after hovering over touchbar

Describe the bug
Using the mouse to navigate the touchbar results in the yellow dot lagging after the touchbar is navigated for a few seconds.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: Macbook Pro
  • macOS version: 10.14.5 Mojave
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.142

This behaviour resets when the mouse is moved up from the bottom of the screen and then put back down.

sounds like your Mac might be busy with some other tasks?

You could try to install the process priority helper tool, which ensures BTT gets a slightly higher priority for event processing than other apps:

Hmm possibly, but I do have the Process Priority turned on. Here's a video of it happening if that helps. Also I noticed that it's not the touchbar dot that's lagging, but the whole laptop.
