Touch Bar Button Groups close upon switching to another App

Describe the bug
If I have an open button group and move the focus to another window / switch the App the currently open button group automatically closes.
This even happens if the the Apps have no special settings e.g. are in Global.

Oddly enough this happens only to my own created groups, as the Groups from the GC preset are not affected.

This probably started occuring after i updated to 2.687.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Touch Bar

you need to enable the "don't close group on app switch " option for the groups where you want that behavior
