Too fast typing of Key Sequence required to execute

I use BTT to insert text.
Basically it works. However, I need to type the Key Sequence too fast for it to execute. And I'm a fast typer!
I can't find any setting that lets me slow down the pace in which I have to type the sequence.
Help much appreciated.

Excuse me, am I understanding you correctly? You need more time to type a key sequence? Is 2 seconds not enough? In 2 seconds I write at least 10 characters. Do you need more?

No the interface was only giving me .3 of. a second - so when I noted the adjustment function 1 second proved to be more than adequate.

I'm currently experiencing this issue. I don't know why all my "text replacements", about 30 of them, using "insert" texts do not work anymore. It has NOT been consistent since last week. It does not always delete the key sequences (although sets them up according to the manual, applying backspace). Is it the time (.3 seconds) issue? Should I use cmd+Z? Appreciate your kind help and suggestion. It's BTT 4.587, and runs on Sonoma 14.4. Thanks in advance.
