Toggle Night Shift not working

Describe the bug
When setting a keyboard shortcut (also doesn't work for other triggers) to perform the action "Toggle Night Shift", nothing happens.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Keyboard

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: Macbook Pro (14-inch, 2021) M1 Pro
  • macOS version: 13.0.1
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.962

Additional Information
I have seen the other posts on this topic, but they did not help me resolve the problem.

Same. Reports about this going back a year at least, and still no replies or resolution. At my wits end and about to downgrade back to the previous version I used before "upgrading" to a new lifetime license. Sigh...

I think version 3.997 alpha combined with macOS Ventura makes this work again on Apple Silicon
