Toggle moving/resize with a keyboard shortcut

I'm having trouble toggling the move/resize feature with a keyboard shortcut. It works fine with a gesture, and the normal holding modifier to move/resize. But when I try to activate it with a shortcut, it doesn't turn on. My first action is "Activate/Bring window to focus under cursor" which I thought might help, but no dice. Anyone had any success with this?

Are you using it like this?

In this example pressing opt+cmd+J activates moving and pressing it again deactivates the moving. I just checked, it's working fine here.
