Describe the bug
If I toggle the dark mode using any shortcut I am stuck on the screen I'm using, meaning I cannot with to the next desktop, or the next fullscreen app. The screen I'm on is perfectly usable (I can switch between the apps in this screen as I want, they work perfectly). But system actions such as ⌘⇥ or switching between the screens (neither keyboard nor touchpad) reacts. After exactly 30 seconds (stopped this with a stopwatch) the system responds to this again. A user without BTT installed toggles the Dark Mode fine in an instant. Any ideas?
Affected input device:
Touchpad
TouchBar
Device information:
Type of Mac: MacBookPro15,1 or MacBookPro15,3
macOS version: 10.14.3 Beta (18D38a) (Bugreport was also sent to Apple, in previous versions too)
BetterTouchTool version: 2.689
If further more information are required I'd be happy to help as much as I can!
You probably has some action or something set up that does this, I've been using Toggle Dark Mode quite a lot recently and it does not happen (in terms of space switching block)
Perhaps it might be the fact that you on Beta OS version and/or the fact that you're using an older mac? Toggling Dark Mode gives me a performance drop for about a second even on my MBP 2017
Sorry to bring this up again. I installed a new user for some reasons, Dark Mode got triggered correctly in the System Prefs. I installed BTT, Dark Mode shows the same behaviour since. Let me know if I can provide further information in order to solve this problem, which kinda annoys me
