TipTap (two fingers fix) does not work correctly

There are two issues with TipTap using three fingers (two finger fix):

  1. When performing the TipTap other unintentional inputs are recorded (both BTT and standard) such as three finger click and single and double finger taps.
  2. The TipTap function is slow to repeat and poorly responsive (I use it to switch browser tabs).

I have tried to modify the settings for three finger drag optimisations, haptic feedback, TipTap settings and the issues still remain. This was not a problem on my ancient MacBook Pro with a mechanical trackpad.
