TipTap Left (1 Finger Fix) magic mouse

Subject: Feature Request - Add “TipTap Left (1 Finger Fix)” to Two Finger Gestures

Dear BetterTouchTool Team,

I really appreciate the powerful customization features of BTT! I have a feature request regarding Two Finger Gestures.

Currently, the “TipTap Left (1 Finger Fix)” gesture is very useful, but it blocks repeated clicks if my right finger moves while my left finger is still tapping. I would like to request an enhancement:

  1. Ensure that the left finger can repeatedly click, even if the right finger moves. Right now, movement from the right finger cancels further clicks until it is lifted.

  2. This is important for ergonomics, as keeping both fingers on the Magic Mouse reduces hand fatigue.

  3. Add a separate configurable option under “Two Finger Gestures” so that this behavior can be customized separately.

I believe this would greatly improve the flexibility of BTT for Magic Mouse users. Thank you for considering my request!

Best regards,

that’s not possible as the finger staying fixed is pretty important for the false positive detection. Without that it would constantly trigger false positives while scrolling wtc.

Well, is there any solution to that?

BTT currently doesn't have an option for that
