The value of a custom variable set in the “Ask For Input, Save To Variable…” action is not available in the follow-up action. However, the value for the variable is apparently saved and available in the BTT settings under “Control BTT with scripts”.

@Andreas_Hegenberg: In your example, only BTTFinderContextMenuTargetPath is set. BTTNewFileName is null or empty (checked with HUD Overlay):

ah there was a slight problem with the function that places variables in strings (e.g. for the HUD). Should be resolved in 4.896 (uploading)
