The Snippet Manager could be improved

Is that what you mean? For me, the click really only works under the red line. But I don't care.

Interesting, your icons on the left also seem to be higher up than on my machine:

You are still on macOS 14, right?

Ventura 13.2.1 :slightly_smiling_face:

:face_with_peeking_eye: are you afraid of macOS updates?

Rather bored.

13.2.1 contains quite a few big security issues, but I think I told you that before :joy:

Yes, you did. So far nobody has found it necessary to hack me

Apart from that: Every security update solves one problem and creates two new ones ... so :man_shrugging:

the difference is, if new security issues are created they (most likely) are not public yet. On the other hand as soon as an update is released hackers can easily figure out what has been fixed / patched and exploit it

But because hackers believe that everyone is smart enough to use all updates, they forget about me because I am smart enough to behave anti-cyclically.

You know, that's the game, I believe that you believe that I believe ...

In the end, nobody knows who believes what. That's how I camouflage myself :slightly_smiling_face:

@Andreas_Hegenberg The Clipbaord (Snippet) Manager allows various display options. But there seems to be no possibility to display only the column “Das ist ein Text”. Could you implement this?

Edit: In case you're wondering why? I have various “pages” with links that I show with a shortcut when needed. The other two columns then only take up space.

Edit2: The detached window would be sufficient. But I cannot call up this window directly with a shortcut. Or can I?

Hey @Frank1, can't you use floating menus/floating web view? I'm not sure what is your use-case, but for example I've created a floating menu like this:

with my necessary links and various other useful info.

Hey @xidiot thanks, how do you set this up? My links change frequently, or I change the order. Is that practical?

The Snippet Manager is great because I can easily copy in links to Docs (for example to Devonthink) or delete and move them as I like.

Here is a example

I think in your use case my example will not be suitable.

I think so too. The best thing would be to simply hide the left-hand column. But unfortunately that's not possible.
