Describe the bug
I use 2/4/5-finger tap gestures a lot, but the issue here is that while tap gestures are consistently reliable on the native macbook trackpad, they often won't work on magic trackpad 2 several times a day, and I have to relaunch btt to make it normal. It often occurs when I hook or unhook my computer from the display, or wake up the computer from sleep. All the other gestures like click gestures act normal. It's a long time problem and I hope it can be fixed, otherwise it's really annoying to relaunch btt throughout the day.

- Type of Mac: macbook 13 inch 2017
- macOS version: it's been a issue since I bought the computer, and certainly in Catalina and Big Sur beta
- BetterTouchTool version: 3.402
