When I swipe from the trackpad's edge, the ratio of triggering success is approximately 1:2. That is, I have to repeat the gesture, unconsciously adjusting the length of the swipe, physical force, etc. It's not intuitive and feels unreliable.
I noticed that, unlike Apple's implementation, the app doesn't block the cursor when swiping in this manner. In Apple's case, when I start the moving off by positioning my finger on the metal surface adjoining the trackpad, it forebodes the action and causes the pointer to freeze.
Does BTT have the settings I'm not aware of to simulate this behaviour? Something like "Prevent pointer motion when [action]"?
