Do you know whether the difference was bigger with the Logitech app?
To be honest, I have never tried and never wanted to install that crap, I just know the option is available.
For me the "Haptic Sense press Force" definitely makes a difference (when set to 0 it is easier to trigger accidentally, when set to 100 it is harder). The difference is not super huge, but I think it might stop the accidental triggering.
What doesn't have any effect for me is the "Haptic Feedback Level" though (which should control the strength of the vibration)

I had an MX Master 3S and over the past several months the buttons became increasingly unresponsiveā¦but one in an odd pattern that made it seem like more of a programming problem instead of a hardware problem. Nonetheless, I replaced with with a Master 4. There's been a couple of times now that the Master 4 has failed to recognize a left click for a few clicks, which might confirm the programming issue.
I have Logi Options+ uninstalled via the app AppCleaner, which supposedly gets everything, even hidden files. However, I'm now wondering if a conflict between whatever may be left of Options+ along with BTT may be to blame. So I'm wanting to check if your script may find any more files to get rid of. Aaaand I can't find the script. I thought it was posted somewhere in this forum or the documentation but now I'm not finding it.
And while I'm here, I had started trying to configure the MX Master 4 in BTT, and for some reason was not finding the something (I forget what now) that was a part of the first step in the documentation and tried digging but was left flummoxed as to how to get the new configurations in there. I had retained all the 3S configurations so I could copy them, but then deleted some (but not all) when I couldn't figure it out, thinking that was blocking whatever button to show up. I also tried installing the preset from the documentation but it doesn't seem to be working. I don't know, it's all a mess now. The middle button behind scroll wheel and side volume buttons are working, but nothing else. Very confusing. What is your suggestion for getting this all straightened out? I've tried digging on my own quite a bit but unfortunately don't have a ton of time to devote to this and am getting frustrated.
This is phenomenal software and I've never had this much trouble with it (long-time user sinceā¦I'm not sure but my first macbook was 2008 and I don't think it was too long after that). Definitely a user error, lol. Just hoping for help since I feel super stuck at this point. Thanks for all you do.
