BTT doesn’t influence scrolling speed

I just saw this.

Just to confirm, to be able to configure the scroll mode not to use the adaptive scrolling, etc., I'll need something other than BTT like LogiOptions one of the other third-party utilities mentioned in a few forum posts?

Logitech MX Master 3S - configure scroll mode without LogiOptions, etc.

I'm trying to avoid using LogiOptions to configure my MX Master 3S, and just use BTT. Most everything seems pretty straight forward, but I was wondering if it's possible to set the scroll mode with BTT (specifically to always use the ratchet mode), or if I'll need something else as well. I've seen a few third-party options listed in other posts here, but I wanted to check if they were needed in addition to BTT. Thanks!
