I would love this as well. I'd be happy to put in a request to Apple (not that I'd hold my breath on it) but I don't even know what to request...

You mention inability to "programmatically generate events" and an API. Is there even a Universal Control API or are you saying they would need to create one?

It's already 2025, and yet, between Mac and Mac, BetterTouchTool (BTT) still can't be combined with Universal Control more perfectly. This is really frustrating. I'm eagerly looking forward to the emergence of an effective solution as soon as possible.
