Streamdeck Screensaver

I’ve noticed some pretty decent burn in on my streamdeck. I can get it to go away if I let it sit unplugged for a few days.

I know on the streamdeck app they have plugins for screensavers and was wondering if there is any way to either use those or create our own?

Not a direct answer to your question, but some other things that can help:

I have mine (BTT full control) set up so that:
Did Lock Screen → Stream Deck Set Brightness (0) , Turn Stream Deck Off
Did Unlock Screen → Turn Stream Deck On, Stream Deck Set Brightness (100)

I also have my config set to change the StreamDeck buttons depending on the app state, so maybe this is helping me.

Another thing you can do is to get a USB power switch and put it inline with the StreamDeck.
For instance: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08M44D79T
I don’t use this much since setting the Lock/Unlock actions as described above, but I do occasionally use it to cycle the StreamDeck power when the SD+ touchscreen stops updating properly…

I think that one of the python streamdeck control libraries might have a way to do a screen saver kind of thing, but this would require some programming.

I think the lock screen ideal is excellent
