Hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction. I've had my Stream Deck+ setup for quite some time with buttons, a few Touch Screen buttons/widgets and also some dial configs. It's been very stable.
That is until tonight when I went to add a few more Touch Screen items, BetterTouchTool then crashed & now I'm unable to get any Touch Screen items to show up anymore.
I've gone through some threads from 2024 that had similar issues, however the fix was some kind of debugging that had been left enabled, so doubt this is the issue for me. I did add the preset that was shared (as can be seen in the screen shots).
Here is some further info that might help.
Versions Impacted: Current GA and also Current Alpha releases
MacOS 26.5, running on MacBook Pro M2
Other steps taken to try to fix.
- I've restated BTT, unplugged my Stream Deck+ and rebooted my MacBook (and various combinations of the three)
- I disabled STream Deck Support in BTT, installed the Elgato software to ensure that the Touch Screen was working ok, it was. So I uninstalled the Elgato Stream Deck software and re-enabled Stream Deck Support in BTT
- Ensured that I removed any additional configuration that I added up until it stopped working.
- Then removed all Touch Screen configuration and tried to re-add
