Bugs or Unexpected Behavior

hi!

it seems that the users of the stream deck community who use btt seems to be very small. however there are some annoying bugs.
probably easy to fix, i dont know.

one of the bugs is the following:

i open up a folder with a normal trigger of a button
when the underlying button of this "open Folder" action has a button up and long press action, the button up action gets triggered.
thats really annoying. is there a way to create a workaround, or maybe the bug can easily be resolved?

There are quite a few BTT Stream Deck users :wink: (however they are split between native BTT and plugin mode)

This one is already on my TODO list, I'll look into it after the next stable release.

I was trying to reproduce the issue but I think I might not have understood. Could you provide simple example?

If you just want to cancel the up events if a long press has happened you can enable this option:

Hello Andreas! Sure. I will post the example as soon as possible. At the moment i am on the iPad, however..so i try to describe the problem again in the meantime:

When i have a button to open up a folder, and within this folder there is the exact same button with a button up action (eg open url) the issue happens. so i just want to open the folder with the button and in the same moment the browser url gets opened too. (because the button up sequence gets triggered)

thats the problem. hope this helps in the meantime

Do you had the opportunity to check the other bug too...? -> Press Up and Long Press Actions dont work in "hidden" Sub Folders

I haven't tried it on a real device, but this might now also work with 5.314 alpha (uploading)

Hello Andreas! Is it now possible to create subfolders within folders for better streamdeck organisation in the latest beta, or do i still have to create hidden folders as a workaround?

and is it still necessary to close a group before open another group with an action?

this hasn't changed (and there are currently no immediate plans to)

The close action might not be needed anymore in the latest alphas (>= 5.340) however I haven't tried that yet
