I created a “Custom Floating Menu” and added a “Standard Item” to it.
In the “Menu Item Name / Identifier” field, I entered “Button,” and in “Design Light,” I also entered “Button.”
Then, I clicked on “Make Default Config For New Items.”
Now, when I click on “+”, another “Standard Item” is added. The “Menu Item Name” is automatically set to “Button” and cannot be changed. However, if I change the entry in “Design Light” from “Button” to something else, the “Menu Item Name” becomes editable again. Using this trick, I can achieve what I wanted.
However, when I add a “Web View / HTML Item,” the “Menu Item Name” can no longer be changed, no matter what I try.
This is because “Web View / HTML Items” do not have a corresponding field under “Design Light” where I could enter something. As a result, this trick does not work in this case.
It’s a bit complicated to explain, so it’s best to watch the video.
