BTT has worked well for years on my Mac laptop, but over the last several months it has been resizing all open windows. I have not changed any of my settings, so it can't be finger gestures that are triggering the bug. The moment it happens I quit BTT and leave it closed and the problem goes away. If the problem persists, it will force me to remove the app.
